Status Meeting 2022

The annual CLINSPECT-M status meeting took place at the TUM Akademiezentrum Raitenhaslach, from the 10th – 11th November 2022. Speakers across all partner sites and work-packages came together to share the latest results and insights from their respective projects, engaged in lively debate and exchanged ideas to guide the fulfilment of future milestones and maximise clinical impact of their findings. Proteomic identification of prognostic, diagnostic and pharmacodynamic biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases, high-throughput MS protocols for proteomic analysis of CSF, the anatomy and role of lipoproteins in Alzheimer’s disease, and multi-omics workflows for targeted treatment of gliomas were among the topics of discussion during the meeting.
With the timing of the event coinciding with the conclusion of the first phase of the CLINSPECT-M initiative, the partners used the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the past three years, and cemented plans to capitalise on this progress and steer the team effort towards the deployment of standardized MS-based pipelines for routine clinical diagnostics and systems biology research in the second phase.
